College of Law

The Faculty of Law in Nalut has deep roots, as its establishment dates back to the late last century. It was founded during a time when the Libyan state faced a shortage of specialized colleges, coinciding with an increase in the population and a rise in the outputs of intermediate education institutions, leading to a higher demand for university institutions. Therefore, this college was established by a decision from the Secretary of the People's Committee for Education and Scientific Research "formerly" No. "745" for the year 1991 under the name of the Faculty of Law.

What are the motivations that lead us to choose to study law in law school?

  • Distinguished academic history and rich experience: The college was established in 1992 and is considered one of the leading law schools in Libya, giving it a strong reputation in legal and Sharia education.
  • Clear objectives and high academic standards: The college aims to prepare qualified graduates to meet the needs of the Libyan market, and is committed to applying comprehensive quality standards and enhancing cooperation with local and international institutions.
  • Wide opportunities in all fields (legislative, executive, political), and in many public and private state institutions such as (judicial bodies, regulatory authorities, and diplomatic entities).
