Research and Consulting Office
The Research and Consulting Office at the Faculty of Law at Nalut University is an important unit dedicated to enhancing legal scientific research and providing consulting expertise to the community and institutions.
His tasks mainly include the following:
Office Tasks :-
1. Enhancing Legal Scientific Research
- Encouraging faculty members and students to conduct legal research in areas such as national legislation, international law, human rights, and judiciary.
- Supporting the publication of research in peer-reviewed legal journals and participation in specialized conferences.
- Providing legal sources and references (books, databases, previous studies) to assist researchers.
2. Providing legal consultations
- Providing legal consultations to government entities (courts, public prosecution, ministries) and the private sector (companies, institutions).
- Preparing legal reports on legislative issues or local disputes.
- Contributing to the drafting of proposed laws or legislative amendments in collaboration with the parliament or legislative bodies.
3. Organizing Scientific Events
- Organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences on legal developments.
- Hosting judges, lawyers, and legal experts to give lectures or training workshops.
4. Cooperation with legal institutions
- Building partnerships with courts, legal unions, and human rights organizations to implement joint projects.
- Collaboration with other legal research centers locally and internationally.
5. Support for Students and Researchers
- Guiding graduate students in selecting topics for legal theses and dissertations.
- Organizing competitions for the best legal research or judicial study.
- Providing grants or partial funding for outstanding research projects
6. Issuance of Legal Publications
- Publishing legal brochures or periodic bulletins summarizing the most important legislative and judicial developments.
- Preparing annual reports on the college's research and consulting activities.
7. Contributing to Community Service
- Providing free services such as legal clinics (for underprivileged groups).
- Organizing awareness campaigns about the legal rights of citizens.
