Dean's Speech

Believing that the student is the center of the educational process, its outcome, and the purpose of its establishment, the College of Law, and that their preparation to face life and its challenges is the primary goal that the college strives for, and based on its vision of working to establish a distinguished academic institution in both academic and practical fields, and its mission centered around launching a comprehensive scientific program that meets specifications and quality standards in order to prepare highly qualified personnel in the fields of Sharia and legal sciences; the college is diligently working to provide distinguished education that aligns with the needs of our community to prepare experienced personnel equipped with both theoretical and practical legal and Sharia knowledge, capable of achieving leadership in their areas of specialization and leading their community.

For this reason, the Faculty of Law in Nalut has been striving since 1992 to enhance the education and scientific research system, serving the university and the community in the field of legal and Sharia studies. This has been achieved by providing a suitable and stimulating environment for creativity and excellence through professional plans to apply quality standards to its programs, resulting in dozens of generations from this prestigious scientific institution managing the legal work in Libya and several academic institutions.

Therefore, it was imperative for the successive administrations of the college and its esteemed staff to strive diligently to achieve the highest standards of quality in higher education. In this regard, the current administration is moving forward with steady steps and professional plans to elevate the education and scientific research system and to serve the university and the community in the field of legal and Sharia studies. This is done by providing a suitable and stimulating environment for creativity and excellence and applying quality standards to achieve the goals of Nalut University within the strategic plan for 2025-2030.

In conclusion, we ask Allah – Glorified be His Power – to protect our homeland and our people and to unite our words in truth and guidance.
