About the Al-Ruhaybat Branch
The branch of the Faculty of Law in Al-Ruhaybat was opened in 2001 as a department affiliated with the Faculty of Law in Nalut, as part of the college's expansion to enhance its academic presence in various regions of the Nafusa Mountains.
The next step is the upgrade of the Law Department in the city of Al-Ruhaybat to the title of Al-Ruhaybat College of Law branch, which is considered a strategic move by Nalut University towards developing the administrative units within the university and enabling students to continue their higher education in the field of law within their local environment, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of human resources and serving the community.
In line with the vision of the Faculty of Law in Nalut, the Al-Ruhaybat branch seeks to develop competitive skills and capabilities in the field of knowledge and the labor market. It aims to prepare specialized personnel in the field of legal sciences that meet the academic and practical needs of the Libyan state. In addition, it aims to prepare qualified legal professionals to work in the fields of judiciary, law, and legal positions in both the public and private sectors.
The branch includes a select group of professors specialized in various fields of law, and offers study programs that match those taught at the main college in Nalut, covering public law, private law, criminal law, and international law, with a focus on developing legal analysis and scientific research skills.
