Department of Sharia

About the Department

The Department of Sharia at Nalut Law School is a beacon of Islamic legal sciences, established in 2000. It has a number of specialized faculty members and teaches a number of students, with many graduates. Its vision is directed towards leadership in the field of specialized Islamic sciences. Its mission is to produce qualified professionals in Sharia, aiming to nourish the job market in this specialization, with openness in both academic and practical fields, and community contribution that serves the surrounding environment on a wide scale. This includes, for example, organizing purposeful scientific lectures and providing specialized consultations from competent specialized professors.

In the context of the continuous development adopted by Nalut University and the subsequent enhancement of this department, two more specialized branches were established (the Sharia branch and the Sharia and Law branch). In line with the direction towards institutional accreditation and the service of quality and development, the officials of this department have taken the necessary measures to support this program, in order to ensure that the outputs of this department, and the qualifications it provides to the labor market, match the outputs of its counterparts in Sharia departments within local and regional colleges.
