Meeting of the Faculty of Law Council at Nalut University

The second regular meeting of the College of Law Council for the academic year 2025/2026 was held on the morning of Monday, October 13, 2025, chaired by the Dean of the College, with the attendance of the Vice President for Academic Affairs of the university, the College's Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the heads of the academic departments, the Director of the Graduate Studies Office, the Head of the Quality Department, and the College Registrar.

The meeting began with a review of the minutes from the previous council session, which were approved without comments, with an emphasis on implementing the recommendations contained therein to support the progress of the educational process.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of several important items, the most notable of which are:

-Monitoring the progress of the educational process and studying the available solutions to address the shortage in covering the study courses at the Faculty of Law and the Al-Ruhaybat branch.

Study of the scientific leave requests submitted by a number of faculty members.

-Approval of the minutes of the scientific departments regarding the requests for the appointment of teaching assistants and faculty members.

-Presentation of the proposed scientific activities plan by the Dean of Academic Affairs at the college and the scheduling of upcoming dates for workshops and scientific seminars.

Approval of the strategic plan for the college presented by Mr.

Head of the Quality Department at the college, and monitoring the progress of the institutional accreditation process for the college.

Presentation of the needs of the Director of the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty of Law necessary to start the graduate program in the Public Law Department.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the college expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the council members for their fruitful and ongoing efforts, wishing everyone continued success and achievement in their academic and administrative duties.
