The Faculty of Law at Nalut University witnessed on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the reception of the educational awareness caravan that launched from Tripoli to the city of Nalut, in a humanitarian initiative organized by the Libya for All Foundation for Development, Culture, and Training under the slogan "Rest assured and be the beginning."

The College of Law was the arrival point for the convoy that included medical and psychological expertise, where the dean of the college and faculty members were present to welcome the delegation, alongside members of the municipal council, in a scene that reflects community support and hospitality.

Reception and Key Topics

The events began with welcoming words delivered by the media committee, followed by an official speech from the college dean, in which he expressed his happiness with this significant visit, emphasizing the importance of community awareness in building a healthy and safe future.

Ms. Manal Al-Aaib, the Chairwoman of the Foundation's Board of Directors, also delivered a speech that reflected the Foundation's belief in the necessity of reaching all Libyan cities and providing support where it is needed. She was followed by Mr. Abdullah Rajeh, the General Director of the Foundation and the Head of the Supreme Committee for the campaign, who spoke about the goals of the convoy, emphasizing that community awareness is the cornerstone in facing health and psychological challenges.

Specialized presentations and lectures

The meeting was enriched by a screening of an awareness video titled "Silence," which highlighted the psychological suffering experienced by cancer patients in the absence of support or societal understanding.

The medical lecture: Dr. Amal Al-Ghariani, head of the medical committee, delivered a comprehensive lecture on breast cancer, during which she explained the causes of the disease, prevention methods, and the importance of early detection in increasing the chances of recovery.

Psychological Support: Dr. Nawal Kreidan, a mental health specialist, spoke about the psychological support needed for patients and how to enhance psychological resilience in the face of crises, emphasizing the role of family and community in providing support.

The meeting witnessed engagement from the attendees, and a discussion was opened with many questions being raised. Informative brochures containing simplified and practical messages about health and mental awareness were also distributed.

Conclusion and Thanks

In a generous gesture, the mayor of Nalut hosted the members of the convoy, offering them a welcoming meal. Before returning, the team visited the historic Nalut Palace in a move that carried a cultural significance.

In conclusion, the Libya for All Foundation expressed its deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this visit, especially Nalut University and the municipal council, affirming that this convoy is one of the steps in a series of programs aimed at enhancing awareness and interest in both physical and mental health.
