In an important step towards enhancing the integration of theoretical and practical aspects of legal education, Nalut College of Law successfully concluded its comprehensive training program for its students. This ambitious program, which lasted for three consecutive days, is part of the college's ongoing efforts to develop the skills of its graduates and empower them to engage effectively in the job market or continue their academic journey with confidence.
The program began its activities with a field visit to the Nalut Police Station on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Accompanied by Mr. Issam Ali, the students listened to a detailed explanation from the center's personnel about the pivotal role of the judicial police officers in uncovering crimes and apprehending their perpetrators. The critical importance of investigation reports and their vital role in supporting the authorities of investigation and prosecution was also emphasized.
Following that, on the next day, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the college students headed to the Nalut Partial Prosecution Office under the supervision of Professor Hamza Al-Lous. Here, members of the Public Prosecution provided extensive explanations about the role of the prosecution as the guardian of society and the authority for investigation and accusation. The students were given the full opportunity to interact and ask questions and inquiries, which enriched the discussion and enhanced their understanding of the work of the prosecution.
The program concluded its field visits on Thursday, May 8, 2025, with a visit to the Nalut Primary Court under the supervision of Mr. Omar Al-Areebi. During this valuable visit, the students were able to observe a part of the judicial procedures directly, as they were introduced to the defense arguments and the requests of the parties involved, and they listened to the pronouncement of the verdict in some of the cases presented. In addition, members of the judicial authority at the court provided comprehensive explanations about the formation of the chamber, its jurisdictions, the authority to direct charges, and other essential procedures for the progress of legal cases.
In conclusion, the administration of Nalut University and the Dean of the Faculty of Law extend their sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to the Nalut Police Station and the Nalut Primary Court for their warm reception, generous hospitality, and the patience shown by the leaders of these important institutions, starting with the President of the Court, the Chief Prosecutor, and their Deputy, as well as the case management and all members of the judicial system. We would also like to express our appreciation for the efforts of the police personnel and security officers at the court for their effective role in organizing the presence of students and facilitating the visits. This fruitful cooperation embodies the commitment of legal institutions and the academic institution to prepare a promising legal generation that serves the community and contributes to achieving justice.
