The workshop aimed to introduce students to the skills of effective presentation and scientific discussion. The content of the workshop included three main axes, the most prominent of which were: strategic preparation, which included defining the criteria for scientific evaluation, mechanisms for preparing an effective presentation, and how to anticipate questions and prepare answers for them. Secondly, executive skills, which focused on the arts of confident delivery and presentation.
And strategies for polite and confident handling of committee questions, in addition to the etiquette and rules of formal academic discussion. This section was distinguished by the participation of Professor Omar Al-Mahrouq, the Deputy for Academic Affairs at the college. Third: The practical and experimental application section: where the practical part included simulation exercises for the actual discussion process, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in an environment resembling the atmosphere of an actual discussion.
The attendees showed remarkable engagement and fruitful discussions throughout the workshop sessions. The event was also crowned with presentation videos delivered by several participating students, which stood out for their high level of performance and notable seriousness, reflecting their early preparedness and awareness of the importance of this stage.
