"The Risks of Corruption Crimes on National Security and Means of Combating Them from Local and International Legislative Perspectives"

The Dean of the Faculty of Law at Nalut University participatedDr. Ayman Suleiman Al-Khamaisi accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Al-Ruhaybat Branch  Dr. Mohamed Othman Abd Al-Sayed on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the proceedings of the dialogue session titled "The Risks of Corruption Crimes on National Security and Ways to Combat Them from Both Local and International Legislative Perspectives." held at the Libyan Center for Strategic Studies and National Security in the capital, Tripoli.

The session witnessed a wide attendance from relevant parties, including representatives from regulatory bodies and ministries, such as the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior, in addition to other security agencies. The dialogue was also attended by several representatives from the Bar Association, civil society organizations, and academics from universities and the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies, as well as department directors and staff from the center.

The session was opened and the discussion was led by Dr. Khalid Falah, Director of the National Security Studies Department, alongside a scientific contribution presented by Dr. Zahra Tibar, a researcher at the Libyan Academy. The discussions addressed the relationship between corruption and national security disruption, highlighting the real and serious consequences of these crimes, as well as the legal status of corruption in international agreements and Libyan laws.

At the conclusion of the session, a number of scientific recommendations were agreed upon that would contribute to addressing this phenomenon in Libya,
